North Wales - September 2018 - Barmouth

From Porthmadog we followed the coast road down to beautiful Barmouth - our favourite place in the whole of Wales - via Harlech where a kind gentleman let me take photos of 'his' view back along the coast from his garden!

On arrival in Barmouth we parked up in the B&B car park and wandered into town, not wanting to waste a second of our time here as the weather was glorious.

We literally spent all day wandering around the promenade, town, harbour and THAT bridge with THOSE views!!!  We checked into our B&B later in the day and then had a lovely meal sat outside our favourite pub in town.

We only had 1 night here sadly, so we were up at the crack of dawn next morning, for a long walk before breakfast.

This is the guest house we stayed in and our view from our breakfast table.

  1. You needn't have gone into someone's garden to take a photo of that view - there's a lay-by along the road with a path going a little way down the cliff top and you can get an identical shot from there. I think Barmouth is a very photogenic little place, I love the blue sky and boats shots and the sunset ones look great :)

  2. I love that part of the coast from Harlech to Barmouth, it's stunning. Barmouth always feels like home to us as we've been going since the late 90's! First time was in our 2nd caravan!! Took Paddy there many times too and he loved the beach beneath the bridge so very special memories for us.
