On Sunday morning we drove to Conwy, a short distance from Llandudno, for a walk around the town and harbour. Sadly the castle had lots of scaffolding up (they must have a massive job on their hands!) so not great for photographs. It was very early so not much was open, including Drew Pritchards (the Salvage Hunter!), where we had planned to visit.

I was in Conwy on Tuesday last week, there's not as much scaffolding up at the front of the castle now but I still took my shots from the back of it. You didn't miss much by not going in Drew's shop - it reminded me very much of an 1970s/80s junk/second hand shop, packed full of some truly awful and very expensive stuff. I managed to snatch a few photos which I'll put on my blog later this week.
ReplyDeleteHa ha. We had no intentions of buying any thing from Drew's shop as a majority of the stuff he buys is not to our taste, or price band!! LOL It did remind us of an old 'junk shop' just from peaking in through the window!!
