On the Wednesday morning, after another fabulous cooked breakfast, we said goodbye to Betws-y-Coed and headed south through Snowdonia, and more beautiful mountain roads, to Porthmadog, where we stopped for a walk in the glorious sunshine!

Porthmadog is lovely and I love the mountain scenery on the way there. Borth-y-Gest, a little bay just outside the town, is worth taking a look if you're ever that way again.
