Mevagissey, South Cornwall - October

Last weekend we were lucky enough to be away again.  Our car had to go in for service and MOT down at the dealership we use near St Austell so instead of driving home we booked an hotel in Lostwithiel.  We particularly chose that weekend to get it all done because the Flying Scotsman was due to come into Cornwall for the first time ever and we wanted to witness it.

After having the car done we drove down to the lovely fishing harbour at Mevagissey for a walk in the very warm sunshine (jeans and t-shirts in October!) and an ice cream.  There were still lots of people around, especially for this time of year.
