After leaving Mevagissey we drove the short distance to another pretty harbour, Charlestown, now famous for Poldark (along with many other parts of Cornwall these days!).
Sadly filming for the next, and final, series had been completed just 2 weeks before and there was no sign of Captain Ross, much to my annoyance!!
It was still fairly busy with 'Poldark spotters' and the businesses were still trying to cash in!
