North Wales - September 2018 - Aberaeron

From the 'mountain road' we headed to Aberaeron where we had a walk around the pretty harbour and town, again in the sunshine!

We booked into our last guest house, where we were welcomed with a pot of tea and bara brith (Welsh cake) and later that evening we drove back into Aberaeron for a meal.  A lovely end to a great first holiday without a motorhome.  Although we did miss having our 'own space' in the evenings, it was great to have the car and a bit more freedom to discover new places on roads that the camper would never have got down!

This was the view from the bedroom in our guest house.

  2. Aberaeron is a very pretty little town and harbour. Mike's sister lives about half hour away from there so we visit it quite a lot. Off down there to stay with her in November, all being well.
